Background

Li Yunyang was initially a thin student from Second High School whose cultivation appeared ordinary. Despite this, Major General Zhuo Yu considered him untouchable because he was the disciple of Guan Jieying, a famed Martial Emperor and Wang Tianyi's longtime rival 50 51.

After losing the Hundred Schools Competition, Li learned that Wang Hao was Wang Tianyi's son and was positioned by Guan Jieying as the person who could challenge him. Guan Jieying emphasized the exceptional legacy of Li's Heaven and Earth Ascending Dragon Art and took him away from Earth for special training 52.
