Chapter Summaries

After Sasuke left, Naruto grieved over losing his closest friend until Otsutsuki Toneri urged him to believe in himself and bring Sasuke back. Toneri and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki then met Black Zetsu, who welcomed his mother back and learned that Toneri still needed to grow stronger to free her completely.

• Sasuke left Naruto behind, convinced that Naruto could not understand his hatred and that he needed power.
• Otsutsuki Toneri and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki watched Kakashi take the unconscious Naruto back to Konoha, and Kaguya Ōtsutsuki admitted she could not see Naruto’s or Sasuke’s futures.
