Yūto opened with Shukaku's giant sand hand. With its wide reach and powerful impact, it was ideal for fighting groups.
But the Seven Ninja Swordsmen of the Mist were no pushovers either. Every one of them was a hardened killer who lived on the edge, and they immediately spread out, ready to counterattack.
Munashi Jinpachi, the first to take a beating, was also the first to lash out. He swung Shibuki down. "Get blown to bits!"
The scroll of explosive tags on the blade immediately unfurled, forcing Yūto to leap back and evade.

Yūto formed hand seals and spat out a Great Fireball, forcing Samehada back with the flames.
Fire Release could repel Samehada's attempts to devour chakra, but its thick hide would not burn.
Who knew what Suikazan Fuguki was thinking, actually planning to use Samehada to absorb Yūto's chakra?
After all, Yūto now had an entire tailed beast sealed inside him. If Samehada really absorbed his chakra, wouldn't it switch sides on the spot?
Then again, it made sense. Kisame had once used Samehada to absorb Killer B's chakra, causing it to defect.
Perhaps no one knew yet that Samehada liked tailed beast chakra.
Meanwhile, Jinin Akebino swung Kabutowari down. The giant sand hand took the strike head-on,
