Chapter Summaries

Yūto used Madara’s secretly implanted Rinnegan to repel the second meteor and save Konoha. Madara then took Nagato’s remaining Rinnegan and had Black Zetsu use Rinne Rebirth through Obito.

• With the second meteor bearing down on Konoha, Minato and the other ninja pleaded with Yūto to stop it.
• Yūto revealed that he had secretly implanted Madara’s Rinnegan in his eye and repelled the meteor with Super Shinra Tensei.
• Madara became furious when Yūto taunted him about using his Rinnegan to counter the attack.
• Madara tore Nagato’s remaining Rinnegan from his eye and threw it to Black Zetsu.
• Black Zetsu possessed the weakened Obito and performed the Outer Path: Samsara of Heavenly Life Technique.

Yūto’s plan to revive and kill Madara succeeded when the Dragon Vein Cannon devastated him and Yūto finished him with a kunai. With Black Zetsu sealed and Orochimaru surrendering, the battle ended with Orochimaru asking Yūto to make peace.

• Yūto secretly obtained Nagato’s Rinnegan with Tsunade’s help and arranged for it to bait Obito into triggering its seal.
