Lu Heng survived Frost Forest by securing a cave, gathering supplies, and defeating dangerous beasts. As a region-wide cold wave approached, he returned to his reinforced Shelter with new medicines, weapons, and food to prepare.

• Lu Heng killed a wounded wild dog and a venomous snake, found a cave, and bound it as Frostforest Cave.
• Lu Heng built an enclosed Shelter, lit a fire, and killed a Coldspine Badger that came for his roast meat.
• Lu Heng fought and killed several Cold Stiffs, gathered stone and logs, and found equipment and a processing station in treasure chests.
• Lu Heng upgraded his cave into a stone-reinforced Shelter with a smoke vent and indoor latrine.
• Lu Heng discovered a hidden marsh, escaped its mud, and killed a Swamp Poison Lizard with the help of a loose boulder and his iron axe.
• Lu Heng recognized that worsening cold and withering plants signaled an approaching cold-wave disaster and returned to stockpile supplies.
• Lu Heng found a Black Iron chest containing blueprints, a body enhancement potion, a light crossbow, and a beast compendium, then gathered useful herbs in the swamp.
• Lu Heng avoided a Swamp Python, collected Wild Sweet Berries and a wilderness chest, and returned to his Shelter to plan for the cold wave.

Lu Heng gathered supplies and fought through the first snowfall, surviving attacks from Cold Stiffs, Coldrock Bears, and a Spotted Leopard. After using the leopard core to strengthen himself, he upgraded the Stone Cave Shelter and began planning its next advancement.

• Lu Heng gathered mineral salt, crafted armor and insect repellent, used a Body Enhancement Potion, and fought off a Cave-Nest Spider as he prepared for winter.
• Lu Heng killed the Blue-Backed Jackal pack and used the Bronze Treasure Chest to build a furnished bedroom and power the Shelter with a spider marrow crystal.
• Lu Heng explored upstream, collected useful plants and supplies, retrieved a Springwater Treasure Chest, and obtained a water purifier and water-based combat technique.
• When the first snow fell, Lu Heng killed a Black Iron Cold Stiff and escaped the surrounding pack before sealing himself inside the cave.
• Lu Heng ventured out in heavy snow to gather stone, found buried treasure and lightning-struck wood, then was forced into a fight with a Spotted Leopard.
• Lu Heng killed the Spotted Leopard with a broken bone dagger, returned to the Shelter, and consumed its core, raising his strength, agility, and stamina from eight to ten.
• Lu Heng gathered the last stone and upgraded the Shelter with the Water Soul Crystal, unlocking a refrigerated ice cellar and a concealed escape passage.
