Gu Zimei opened the Fifth Gate of Limitless, raising her combat power enough to overpower Yao Heng and Zhang Shan in their Zoan forms. As Yao Heng tried to escape, Qi Yuan pulled him back with Banshō Ten'in, and Gu Zimei killed him with a Haki-coated strike.

• Gu Zimei opened the Third, Fourth, and Fifth Gates of Limitless, pushing her combat power to 1213 and causing her body intense pain.
• Gu Zimei struck Zhang Shan down, then fought Yao Heng and Zhang Shan after they transformed into a werewolf and an ox.

Kurama, now a powerful physical being in the Ten Thousand Great Mountains, decided to enter the human world disguised as Naruto and find a way back to the Shinobi World. As Sheshan burned, Zheng Huan sensed that approaching Gu Zimei meant certain death and fled his post as Governor.
