Lin Jin and Solomon unleashed their Divine Domain-level power at the same time. The air between them congealed as though solid, and two utterly different Powers of Rules collided in silence, tearing the surrounding clouds to shreds.
Solomon struck first.
He formed hand seals with both hands, and the Light Rule condensed around him into nine golden orbs the size of fists. Each was like a miniature star, radiating terrifying heat capable of instantly vaporizing steel.
"Nine Suns Soaring!"
With a light sweep of his right hand, the nine orbs spread into a fan and shot toward Lin Jin simultaneously from nine different angles.
Where the orbs passed, they burned nine vacuum channels through the air. Great swaths of white steam rose from the sea as they skimmed over it.
The Rinnegan in Lin Jin's right eye narrowed slightly, and Kamui Intangibility activated.
The first orb passed through his body and exploded into a small mushroom cloud on the sea behind him.
The second and third followed. Whenever an orb passed through his intangible body, he used his intangible state to remain briefly in place, rapidly analyzing the energy composition of the Light Rule in the gaps as the orbs swept past him.
By the time the fourth orb came, he no longer maintained his intangibility. Instead, he raised his left hand, unfolding the Preta Path's absorption barrier in his palm.
The orb struck the barrier and burst into a dazzling flare of golden light, but before it could spread, the absorption barrier swallowed it whole, converting it into pure chakra that flowed back into his body.
The remaining five orbs attacked simultaneously from different directions.
