At that, the proprietor raised his brows and looked toward the corner. "The first round of the Annual Ranking? Which Annual Ranking? The First, Second, and Third Institutes?"
Problems cropped up very often in the First, Second, and Third Institutes.
The man in the corner took a deep breath. "The Annual Ranking for the Seventh, Eighth, and Nine Institutes is over. The rankings have already been announced."
The proprietor frowned. "What did you say? The Annual Ranking for the Seventh, Eighth, and Nine Institutes is over? It only started an incense stick's time ago. Why is it over already?"
The voice from the corner carried a trace of shock. "Someone ended the assessment by single-handedly defeating every genius from the Seventh, Eighth, and Nine Institutes.
"The rankings were announced. There's only first place, and no one else."
