He had done nothing here at all, so this surely had something to do with the people outside.
Their purpose in doing this was clear: it had to be to break through the Grand Formation outside.
It looks like we don't have much time, Qingfeng thought.
If those people could cause such a tremendous disturbance, the Formation outside surely could not hold out much longer.
He needed to keep increasing his strength as much as possible. Only then would he have a chance to protect his friend.
"The ground isn't changing anymore." Qingfeng noticed that after the recessed Formation markings appeared on the ground, there seemed to be no other changes.
When he looked at the pillar of light, it too was gradually dimming, apparently nearing its end.
Then the pillar of light began to shrink until it vanished completely.
Once it disappeared, Qingfeng hurriedly looked outside, toward the expanse that was still a sea of white.
He found that little seemed to have changed there. In other words, the Formation outside probably had not been broken yet.
Otherwise, the people outside would probably have charged straight in.
"Thank goodness." Qingfeng let out a long breath.
Whatever that pillar of light had been, things on his side remained as they were, which was still something to be glad of.
"Are you all right?" Qingfeng asked.
The Soaring Immortal Fruit swayed his branches and leaves, giving Qingfeng a response.
"As long as you're fine." Qingfeng smiled.
After all, that pillar of light had shone directly onto his friend's location, so he was still somewhat uneasy.
But just after Qingfeng said this, his expression suddenly changed.
"What's wrong?" Qingfeng cried out.
Unfortunately, his friend could no longer respond.
For Qingfeng discovered that his friend's
