Huang Xiao pursued new clues about the Scripture of Great Peace while settling into Poison God Valley and helping his Green Ox Gate companions. After the Heavenly Yin Silkworm ruined his meridians and dantian, he left with only months to live and learned that Bai Tianqi, his master’s killer, was still alive.

• Fang Du brought Qingfeng, Qingyun, and Qinghe to Poison God Valley, where Qingfeng chose to remain at Green Ox Temple and Jiang Ying reported Qingxiao’s whereabouts to the Dragon-Seeking Envoy.
• Huang Xiao studied the Power-Devouring Poison Force, learned of the Six Gates’ clue to the Scripture of Great Peace, and connected its words to clues in Shaolin’s abbreviated disciple names.
• Huang Xiao reunited with Qingyun and Qinghe in Poison God Valley, studied the Everlasting Spring Art with Qinghe, and revealed that he had named his controlled absorption ability the Northern Darkness Absorption Method.
• At Ten-Thousand Poisons Lake, the Heavenly Yin Silkworm awakened and attacked Sun Bang, Huang Xiao, and Xu Yan after Sun Bang tried to tame it with his blood.
• Huang Xiao used Godslayer against the silkworm, but it devoured his internal power and poisoned his dantian and meridians before Xu Yan drove it back into the lake.
• The Valley Master repaired some of Huang Xiao’s meridians but warned that he had only six months to live, or three if he used his internal power, and urged him to seek hope at Everlasting Spring Valley in Dali.
• Huang Xiao learned that Bai Tianqi had survived and might have reached the Peak Realm, then resolved to seek help from Poison God Valley rather than confront him recklessly.

Huang Xiao returned to Green Ox Gate, where he and Qingfeng fought Zhang Bao and Zhang Hu as the struggle over the Heavenly Demon Canon unfolded. After healing some of his damaged meridians and helping Zhao Yunhui defeat Gu Yi, Huang Xiao learned that Bai Tianqi had appeared in the same conflict, while Zhao Yunhui suspected she had found the lost Scripture of Great Peace.

• Huang Xiao arrived at Green Ox Temple and killed Zhang Bao, Liu Jin, and Hu Jun, then challenged Zhang Hu until Qingfeng took over the fight.
• Qingfeng was injured by Zhang Hu’s internal power, and the arrival of a woman with the Netherworld Demon Zither revealed that Zhang Hu possessed the Heavenly Demon Canon.
• The woman’s zither disrupted the group, but Zhang Hu escaped using formations and footwork while Jiang Ying and Yan Zhong pursued him.
• Qingfeng showed Huang Xiao the Pre-Heaven Scripture and Demon Slayer, then made Huang Xiao the acting leader of Green Ox Gate and gave him a half-finished Sinew-Strengthening Pill.
• Huang Xiao took the pill and recovered much of his strength, while Zhao Yunhui gave him her Eight Trigrams Annotations and explored the Nine Palaces Grand Mystery Formation with him.
• Gu Yi attacked Huang Xiao on the mountain, but Zhao Yunhui trapped and killed him using the formation, and the two agreed to keep the encounter secret.
• Yan Zhong returned wounded and reported that Zhang Hu had escaped and that Bai Tianqi of the Huaqing Sect had fought among the contenders for the Heavenly Demon Canon.
• In Huaqing City, Zhao Yunhui reread three essays and suspected their words formed the lost Scripture of Great Peace.

Huang Xiao confronted Bai Tianqi and left for Dali with his life threatened by icy energy, while factions battled over Zhang Hu and the Heavenly Demon Canon. Zhang Hu escaped the valley with You Lian’er’s help, and the Jianghu began hunting him as Huang Xiao continued his search for the Peak of Immortality.

• Huang Xiao reached Huaqing City, met Jiang Ying, and learned that Bai Tianqi was tracking Zhang Hu on Zhongnan Mountain.
• Huang Xiao joined Dugu Sheng and Hong Yi, then used Poison God Valley’s Ten Thousand Antidote Pill to save Master Kongming from an unknown poison.
• At Hu’ao Valley, Huang Xiao recognized Bai Tianqi as his master’s killer and fought him, leaving Bai severely injured but suffering damage that might kill him within weeks.
• Huang Xiao refused to return to the city and went alone toward Dali to seek the Everlasting Spring Valley as the Heavenly Demon Sect factions fought over Zhang Hu.
• You Lian’er stopped Fang Qing from seizing Zhang Hu, then killed Fang Qing with her Netherworld Demon Zither when he fought Perfected Person Deqing.
• Zhang Hu revealed that he could use the Dragon Tiger Dao Seal, broke through the encirclement, and escaped with You Lian’er’s aid.
• The Jianghu sent experts to hunt Zhang Hu, while Huang Xiao reached Dali and searched for the Peak of Immortality as his icy energy worsened.

Huang Xiao reached Everlasting Spring Mountain, recovered his strength through Old Sun’s secret art, and became entangled in the pursuit of Zhang Hu and the Heavenly Demon Canon. After saving two Heavenly Mountain Pavilion disciples from Peaceful Heaven Sect attackers, he learned more about the sect’s search for the true Scripture of Great Peace.

• Huang Xiao killed One-Eyed Wolf and helped the villagers defeat the bandits, then collapsed as the Heavenly Yin Silkworm’s cold energy surged through him.
• Uncle Sun treated Huang Xiao’s damaged meridians and dantian, and Huang Xiao absorbed and transformed the cold energy while beginning to recover.
• Old Sun taught Huang Xiao the Everlasting Spring Youth-Restoring Art, revealed Medicine King Hall’s location, and warned him to keep the method secret.
• Huang Xiao awoke with the cold energy gone and his strength largely restored, then left the village and turned back toward Everlasting Spring Mountain after hearing that Zhang Hu was there.
• Huang Xiao defeated Tan Tong with help from Duan Ying, the Dali Kingdom’s second prince, and followed the searchers into the mountain after learning Zhang Hu’s traces had been found.
• You Lian’er used the Seven Stars Formation to trap Zhang Hu’s pursuers, while Huang Xiao rushed toward a commotion after hearing someone ridicule Heavenly Mountain Pavilion.
• Huang Xiao stopped Jiang Yu and Liu Kui from assaulting Dong Yan and Hu Qiao, defeated their coordinated attacks, and forced them to flee before freeing the two women.
• Dong Yan explained Peaceful Heaven Sect’s ties to Heavenly Mountain Pavilion and its search for the true Scripture of Great Peace, and Huang Xiao confirmed he had come for the Heavenly Demon Canon.
