• A whirlpool transported Huang Xiao and his companions to an island, where its fighters killed the five Holy Envoys and brought the newcomers before Xuan Yuanxiang.
• Xuan Yuanxiang exposed their origins, explained the Creation Sect’s history and the cross-realm formations, and invited them to enter the sacred ground, but Huang Xiao chose to leave with his companions.
• Xuan Yuanxiang sent Xuanyuan Xin with the group, and Huang Xiao and his companions sailed through the Wind Eye and storms to West Mountain Harbor.
• After discussing the Immortal Spirit Domain’s factions, Huang Xiao’s companions divided their plans, agreed to reunite in ten years, and parted ways.
• Huang Xiao and Huo Lian traveled toward the Demon Domain and rescued Gao Tianhe, who revealed that he belonged to Kui Yong’s declining Wild Ox Sect.

Huo Lian and Huang Xiao took control of the Wild Ox Sect, then confronted the Fierce Mountain Gang after its envoy threatened the sect. They killed Wang Xiongshan, took over his gang, and entered his protected seclusion chamber to search for his methods and treasures.

• Huo Lian claimed the Sect Master’s seat with Huang Xiao, and the elders backed them after witnessing Huo Lian’s strength.
• Huo Lian appointed Gu Haiying First Grand Elder and Gao Tianhe Fifth Grand Elder, then learned that the sect had little money and owed the Fierce Mountain Gang a large payment.
• After Jin Hu stole the elders’ hidden wealth and the sect treasury, Huang Xiao pursued him, killed him and the Fierce Mountain Gang’s envoy, and recovered the stolen valuables.

After taking control of the Fierce Mountain Gang, Huang Xiao entered the Demon God Sect’s contest and revealed strength far beyond his realm while seeking a Demon General Candidate position. The first selection left him among the advancing contestants, and the next round began under Senior Phantom Demon’s authority.

• Huang Xiao and Huo Lian discovered and concealed the Treatise on Seeking the Dao, then took leadership of the Fierce Mountain Gang and the Wild Ox Sect respectively.
• Huang Xiao stabilized the Fierce Mountain Gang, canceled an increase in tribute from its subordinate sects, and prepared to compete for a Demon General Candidate position.
• Huang Xiao rejected the Soul-Reaping Sect’s offer to deliver his gifts and traveled to the Demon God Sect with Huo Lian, Du Jiliang, and Lu Qingzhong.

Huang Xiao survived Ma Tie'an’s Illusion Formation and entered the final contest for the Reserve Demon General position. In the deadly valley, he claimed the Reserve Demon General Token and several treasures, but the fight for the token continued as he waited for a chance to rejoin it.

• Huang Xiao used Supreme Demonic Qi to resist Ma Tie'an’s Illusion Formation and remained on the arena until sunset, passing the test.
