Qin Lian destroyed the Canglang Sword Sect and forced the Dragon River Gang and other factions to yield, then entered the Pure Yang Sword Sect as a Heaven Ranking grandmaster and established the Taibai Sword Sect. He advanced his cultivation, took Tang Yao under his protection, and learned the sect was shielding him from a dispute over Taibai Mine Mountain so he could keep cultivating.

• Qin Lian revealed he was healthy, then led the Qin Family against the Canglang Sword Sect and killed its leading fighters before turning toward the Dragon River Gang.
• Qin Lian found the Dragon River Gang's leaders had fled, negotiated for Qi Refining Pills, and returned to Dragon Abyss Mountain, where he handed the family leadership to Qin An.
