The "messenger" from the Hokage Building arrived at the Konoha Military Police Force building on time.
Two official documents bearing the Third Hokage's bright red seal were delivered to Uchiha Minamoto's desk.
"Arrest Warrant for the Public Trial of Missing-nin Shimura Danzō."
"Authorization Order for a Thorough Search of the Root Base."
Hmm, Hiruzen Sarutobi handled things pretty efficiently this time!
Uchiha Minamoto picked up the two documents, a meaningful smile curling his lips.
A single night was a long time.
Uchiha Minamoto knew that Hiruzen Sarutobi must have spent the night clearing out Root's most unspeakable, darkest, and cruelest core secrets.

What Uchiha Minamoto wanted had never been those documents that could be moved away so easily.
All he wanted were these two official documents bearing the Hokage's seal!
Uchiha Minamoto put the two documents away, picked up a newspaper from the Love Newspaper Office, and looked up at the "messenger," who was still standing in place.
"My friend from the Anbu, are you still here because you intend to 'leave the darkness for the light,' leave the Anbu, and join the Konoha Military Police Force?"
"Lord Uchiha."
The Anbu ninja had short brown hair and wore an animal mask. He answered honestly.
"Lord Third Hokage instructed me to cooperate with the Konoha Military Police Force in conducting a comprehensive search of the Root Base."
Cooperate?
Uchiha Minamoto raised an eyebrow.
More like "keep watch," if you ask me!
Still, Uchiha Minamoto had expected Hiruzen Sarutobi to make a move like this.
"My friend from the Anbu, what should I call you?"
"My Anbu code name is 'Tenzo.'"
