Outside the world, above the undulating, endless expanse of the dark Boundary Membrane.
A gigantic shadow swept past at tremendous speed.
In its haste, it seemed somewhat panicked and disordered.
A few faint words slipped out as it raced along like wind and lightning:
"...even outside the world... he's everywhere... damn it... stop talking nonsense..."
Just then, however, the gigantic shadow abruptly halted, revealing a pair of brown eyes and enormous wings patterned in red and green across its back.
Its sudden stop stirred up the thin, diffuse Primal Chaos Source Substance around it.
But it had no time to swallow any. Its slightly frightened eyes flickered rapidly:
"No! I am no longer the Fanming I once was!"
"That God-Locking Bell can do nothing to me beyond sensing me, and there's no sea here either. In that case..."
Its lake-sized eyes suddenly lit up:
"If I eat him, won't there be no one left who can control me?"
The more it considered this possibility, the more excited it grew, and the brighter its eyes shone!
A faint sound suddenly came from within its body, and it immediately snapped:

At this, delight filled its heart, and it could not help cackling.
But as it laughed, it realized how unpleasant the sound was and stopped awkwardly, a trace of regret and wistfulness flashing through its eyes:
"This body has a thousand merits, but it still cannot compare to my former Divine Chicken body."
Its avian head shook slightly, then its wings beat.
