Thick chains pierced the surrounding void, firmly supporting an enormous city amid the boundless gloom.
The city stretched for ten thousand miles.
Beneath it lay heaps of white bones surging with demonic Qi.
Yet inside the city, lamps blazed and light streamed everywhere. Only a few pitch-black, collapsed areas were faintly visible, wisps of green smoke rising from them...
And above this city.
Figures of cultivators hovered in midair, their expressions utterly grave. They brought forth law artifacts and Dao Treasures, forming an array to gather a vast composite Dao Domain that covered the entire Demon-Seizing Dao city.
The Dao Domain brimmed with majestic righteousness, carrying an upright bearing that would sweep away all evil demons and heterodox paths.
Only a handful remained outside this enormous Dao Domain, their breaths disordered, their expressions equally grave as they looked a short distance away.
There, two figures stood alone.
One was a young man, the other middle-aged.

The middle-aged cultivator merely stood quietly behind him, his gaze calm and indifferent, with only a faint trace of impatience.

At his words, the young cultivator kept his gaze fixed on the Demon-Seizing Dao ahead and answered without turning:
"Rest assured, Ancestral Senior Brother. I will finish them off quickly and will not delay anything. But I rarely get to come out, so let me play a little longer, Senior Brother. Once I have dealt with this one, I will go with you to the next."
