Balnir Farmstead in Tirisfal Glades welcomed a group of unusual guests.
"Bishop Rotande Gili, it's a pleasure to see you." Tirion Fordring and Darion Mograine had returned to the land they once knew. Sadly, this land was no longer part of Lordaeron, and the former Bishop Rotande Gili had become a Plague Mage.
Through the Kingdom of Quel'Thalas, Tirion Fordring and Darion had secured the Forsaken's permission to pass through the Bulwark. Sylvanas had specifically sent Rotande Gili, Alonsus Faol's former successor, as an envoy to accompany Tirion, Darion, and the others to the Scarlet Monastery.
The group slowly headed toward the Scarlet Monastery. Everyone remained silent along the way, or rather, they did not know what to say. Rotande Gili had become one of the Forsaken, Darion had become the Highlord of the Ebon Blade, and Tirion Fordring, who had reunited the Silver Hand, had once been accused of treason and colluding with the orcs. The one who had stripped Tirion of his right to use the Holy Light had been his contemporary, Uther the Lightbringer.
Everyone remained silent. No one asked a single question; even something as simple as "How have you been?" was impossible to say. Once they brought up the past, those memories would follow. No one wanted to revisit the scene of their own death. Silence was the best choice.
Meanwhile, in the mountains northeast of Lordamere Lake, Archbishop Alonsus Faol, who had already become undead, seemed to have sensed something. "It seems someone has reconciled with the Forsaken and come to reclaim the Scarlet Monastery."
"Reconciled? Surely that's impossible. The Scarlet Crusade has become a camp of extremists. They're intensely hostile toward every nonhuman race." Trapped in the mountains for so long, Calia and Alonsus had almost completely lost contact with the outside world.
