Lu Ren nodded, then turned to the disciples from the other sects. "What about you?"

The disciples spoke up one after another.
"Good. If anyone outside this group learns that I obtained Yama Night Venerable's inheritance, I'll kill every last one of you!"
With that, Lu Ren flicked his sword. A streak of Abyssal Sword Qi swept out and carved a massive sword scar into the distant cliff face.
At the sight of that scar, a chill crept over the disciples from head to toe. If that strike had landed on them, no number of lives would have been enough.
Yin Chong approached Lu Ren with a smile and cupped his hands. "Lu Ren, we still have a mission to carry out. We'll go on killing Night Luo, though I don't know if we can still complete it. We won't stay any longer!"
Lu Ren returned the gesture. "All right. I won't see you off!"
Lu Ren had a fairly good impression of Yin Chong and Liao Yunjie. As for that big-chested, empty-headed Yun Lan, he had no goodwill toward her at all.
