Lu Ren spoke with absolute certainty.
"Do you know what you're saying? If you stray down the wrong path in the Path of Attack and Kill, you'll only destroy yourself!"
Putuo Buddha Emperor said.
"Putuo Buddha Emperor, do you think I'd gamble away a lifetime of cultivation to reach this point? I heard you perished in the Immortal Path Great Tribulation. Even if I inherit your Myriad Dharma Path, I'd only be following the road you once walked."
Lu Ren spoke calmly.
After a moment's thought, Putuo Buddha Emperor looked at Lu Ren and suddenly laughed. "The younger generation is formidable. How would you like me to help?"
"There are still many things about the Buddhist Dao I don't understand. When the time comes, I hope you'll guide me."
Lu Ren said.
"This wisp of my remnant soul can last a month at most."
Putuo Buddha Emperor said.
"A month?"
Lu Ren's expression grew grave.
But now that he had decided to take this step, he had to try.
His belief that the Buddhist Dao and the Path of Slaughter could merge came from his own cultivation experience.
Back then, Myriad Killing Buddha had become a Buddha through killing and created Buddha's Wrath Sky Slaying Art. That alone proved killing and Buddhism could merge.
By creating his own art, Myriad Killing Buddha had effectively been walking his own path. His cultivation back then, however, had been far below Lu Ren's current level.
I've cultivated Buddha's Wrath Sky Slaying Art. It's a Divine Dao art. The Immortal Dao and Divine Dao differ, but understanding the path is the same!
