The cave abode's entrance was a dark-gold gate. It radiated the powerful aura of the Earth Attribute Origin Law, solemn, heavy, and seemingly indestructible.
Without a doubt, breaking through that gate would complete the Earth Attribute Altar's assessment.

With a shout, Lu Ren charged forward. He unleashed the full power of his Chaos Law, gathered it into his fist, and punched the gate.

Lu Ren's arm, on the other hand, went numb. A powerful force seemed to seep into his body, shaking him from within.
"This gate's defenses are too strong. Breaking it will probably take the power of the Eighth Shattered Realm!"
Lu Ren frowned.
He was only at the Fifth Shattered Realm. It was his deep foundations and physical strength that gave him combat power on par with the Eighth Shattered Realm.
And even then, he had only barely reached that level. It was nowhere near enough to smash the gate.
Lu Ren hammered at it furiously. Almost every punch could have gravely injured a Seventh Shattered Realm expert, yet the cave abode's gate did not budge.
