Genji had been fishing at leisure when Mei Terumi's words caught him off guard. Bewildered, he asked uncertainly, "What did you just say? Say that again."
Mei Terumi repeated herself irritably, stressing every word. "I said, I'm getting married."
"Married? To whom?" Genji looked utterly puzzled. As far as he remembered, Mei Terumi had always devoted herself to training and had never had any contact with men her age. When did she start seeing someone? How did she keep it so secret that even I didn't know?

Mei Terumi shook her head.
"Then do you know who else is in his family?"
Mei Terumi shook her head again.
Genji laughed in exasperation. "So aside from knowing his name is Ōbu, you know nothing about him. You can't even be sure whether Ōbu is his real name, and you still dare to marry him? Have you lost your mind?"
Mei Terumi retorted disdainfully, "You old people just love asking about every little thing. You don't understand. This is love."
Love, my ass. Genji fought back
