Ch. 41Night of the Nine-Tails, disaster strikes

As the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha, Uchiha Rìtiān led civilians to safety and helped Shisui hold back the beast while Minato fought Obito. The chapter ended with Rìtiān calling out to Minato just as the Hokage was about to use the Reaper Death Seal.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān prepared supplies, a rescue team, and barrier tags before the Nine-Tails' Attack began.
  • Obito Uchiha unleashed the Nine-Tails, and Minato Namikaze teleported its Tailed Beast Bomb outside Konoha.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān chose to rescue civilians and led a crowd toward a shelter, shielding them from the Nine-Tails with an Earth-Style Wall.
  • Shisui joined Uchiha Rìtiān and used a Water Formation Wall to help protect the fleeing crowd.
  • Minato struck Obito with a Rasengan, forcing him to retreat, but the uncontrolled Nine-Tails continued destroying Konoha.
  • Minato prepared to use the Reaper Death Seal, but Uchiha Rìtiān shouted for him to wait.

Ch. 42Saving the Fourth, Rewriting History

Uchiha Rìtiān used an improved sealing technique to save Minato from sacrificing himself and helped Minato and Kushina divide the Nine-Tails' chakra between Kushina and Naruto. The family survived the attack, while Obito watched from the woods and grew interested in Rìtiān.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān redeemed the Improved Eight Trigrams Sealing and, with Minato and Shisui holding down the Nine-Tails, sealed the beast without sacrificing himself.
  • The Nine-Tails' chakra depleted Rìtiān, but his Sharingan temporarily awakened part of its power and increased his chakra recovery until the seal was complete.
  • Minato thanked Uchiha Rìtiān for saving him and Konoha, and Rìtiān suggested sealing the Nine-Tails' Yin Release chakra inside Kushina.
  • Minato sealed the Yang Release chakra inside Naruto and the Yin Release chakra inside Kushina, allowing all three to survive.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān passed out from exhaustion as Minato and Kushina praised him, while Obito watched from outside the village and expressed interest in his actions.

Ch. 43Two years later, I graduated!

Uchiha Rìtiān graduated from the Ninja Academy and was assigned to Team 10 with Akimichi Jifeng and Yamanaka Jingetsu, under Shikaku Nara. After Shikaku set a test for the next morning, Rìtiān sensed Big Brother Shisui’s chakra and rushed toward it, sensing that something was wrong.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān tried to strike up a conversation with Yamanaka Jingetsu, but she rebuffed him and his system deducted affection points.
  • At the graduation ceremony, Iruka-sensei assigned Uchiha Rìtiān, Akimichi Jifeng, and Yamanaka Jingetsu to Team 10, led by Shikaku Nara.
  • Shikaku introduced himself as the team’s jonin leader and said someone had specifically requested that he lead them, but he kept the requester’s identity secret.
  • The three students introduced themselves, and Shikaku told them to meet at the training ground at eight the next morning for a test.
  • After Jingetsu left, Uchiha Rìtiān sensed Big Brother Shisui’s chakra and rushed toward its source, believing Shisui was in trouble.

Ch. 44Shisui's crisis, Kotoamatsukami

Uchiha Rìtiān healed Shisui and helped him use both Kotoamatsukami eyes to change Danzo’s will, ending Danzo’s threat to the Uchiha. As Shisui chose to remain in the Police Force, the system warned Uchiha Rìtiān that Akatsuki had begun an operation to capture the One-Tail Jinchuriki in Sunagakure.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān found Shisui gravely wounded at the Naka Shrine cliff, missing his right eye after Danzo ambushed him, and learned Shisui had used Kotoamatsukami on Danzo.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān used the system to heal Shisui completely and regenerate his right eye.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān persuaded Shisui to offer Danzo his other eye, and Danzo accepted and had both eyes transplanted despite suspecting a trap.
  • The two Kotoamatsukami eyes influenced Danzo to sincerely prioritize Konoha, and the system declared the threat he posed permanently eliminated.
  • Shisui decided to stay in the Police Force and protect Konoha, while the system warned Uchiha Rìtiān that Akatsuki was targeting the One-Tail Jinchuriki in Sunagakure.

Ch. 45Team 10, assemble!

Uchiha Rìtiān and his teammates began Shikaku’s bell test, but failed to take the bells before Shikaku ended their first clash. After deciding to keep trying with a clever plan, Rìtiān learned Gaara had gone berserk in Sunagakure and chose to go there himself as the Akatsuki moved to capture him.

  • Shikaku set Hayate, Jingyue, and Rìtiān a one-day bell test and told them that anyone without a bell would go hungry.
  • Rìtiān chose to cooperate with his teammates, then joined their attacks on Shikaku after Hayate and Jingyue’s opening assault failed.
  • Rìtiān used the Body Flicker Technique, shadow clones, and Earth Release: Earth Swamp Technique to try to take the bells, but Shikaku dodged him and knocked him down.
  • Rìtiān regrouped with Hayate and Jingyue and promised to outsmart Shikaku with a plan of his own.
  • After the system reported that Gaara had gone berserk and the Akatsuki was trying to capture him, Rìtiān chose to travel to Sunagakure.

Ch. 46Outwitting Shikaku, the First C-Rank Mission

Uchiha Rìtiān outwitted Shikaku during the bell test and became a Genin alongside Hayate and Jingyue. Their first mission was to escort a caravan to Sunagakure, where Uchiha Rìtiān planned to address the One-Tail problem and learned that Deidara and Sasori were nearby.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān distracted Shikaku with a lavish lunch while Hayate secretly set up a Chakra Net, then used the trap to steal Shikaku's bells.
  • Shikaku escaped the net with Soft Body Modification, but Uchiha Rìtiān had already taken the bells, passing the test for the team.
  • Shikaku officially made Uchiha Rìtiān, Hayate, and Jingyue Genin and assigned them a C-rank caravan escort mission to Sunagakure.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān chose to resolve Sunagakure's One-Tail problem during the mission and prepared ninja tools for the journey.
  • The system warned Uchiha Rìtiān that Deidara and Sasori of the Red Sands were in the direction of Sunagakure.

Ch. 47Setting out! The road to Sunagakure

Shikaku’s team escorted Yamada’s caravan toward Sunagakure and defeated an ambush in Death Valley. As the bandits surrendered, Uchiha Rìtiān sensed the familiar chakra signatures of Deidara and Sasori nearby.

  • Shikaku, Uchiha Rìtiān, Hayate, and Jingyue met Yamada and set out with his caravan for Sunagakure.
  • When the caravan entered Death Valley, Uchiha Rìtiān used his Sharingan to detect bandits lying in wait and warned everyone of the ambush.
  • Hayate enlarged himself with the Multi-Size Technique, while Jingyue used the Fox Fire Technique to fight the bandits.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān dodged the scar-faced leader’s attacks, flicked his blade away with one finger, and made him and the other bandits surrender.
  • After Shikaku cautioned the team that the real test still lay ahead, Uchiha Rìtiān sensed Deidara and Sasori nearby.

Ch. 48First encounter with Deidara and Sasori

Deidara and Sasori ambushed Shikaku’s caravan and demanded Gaara, the One-Tail Jinchuriki. After Sasori headed toward Sunagakure and Deidara injured Hayate with a Clay Clone explosion, Uchiha Rìtiān chose to face Deidara alone, and their duel was about to begin.

  • Deidara and Sasori revealed themselves as Akatsuki members and demanded that Shikaku hand over Gaara.
  • Deidara attacked Shikaku with explosive clay birds, but Uchiha Rìtiān blocked the blasts with Earth Release.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān countered Deidara’s clay dragon with Water Release, while Jingyue’s genjutsu and Hayate’s attack exposed a Clay Clone that exploded and wounded Hayate.
  • Shikaku left to pursue Sasori, while Jingyue stayed to care for Hayate and Uchiha Rìtiān prepared to fight Deidara alone.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān chose to face Deidara head-on and activated his two-tomoe Sharingan as Deidara accepted the challenge.

Ch. 49Battling Deidara: Art is Patrick Star

Uchiha Rìtiān defeated Deidara’s clone and learned that Sasori had escaped, then hurried toward Sunagakure after discovering the Akatsuki planned to capture Gaara. He accepted a mission to protect Sunagakure as the caravan sped toward the village.

  • Deidara attacked Uchiha Rìtiān with clay explosives, but Rìtiān dodged C3, dispersed C4’s particles, and burned the Clay Spiders with a Fire Release technique.
  • Rìtiān trapped Deidara in a genjutsu and struck him with a lightning-coated kunai, defeating the clone before it exploded.
  • Jingyue checked on Rìtiān, who learned Hayate would recover from his injuries, while Shikaku reported that Sasori had escaped.
  • Rìtiān warned Shikaku that Sasori was targeting the One-Tail, and the caravan hurried toward Sunagakure.
  • The system issued Rìtiān a mission to stop the Akatsuki from capturing Gaara, and he resolved to protect Sunagakure.

Ch. 50Sunagakure, Gaara's rampage

Uchiha Rìtiān and Shikaku helped Sunagakure stop Gaara’s rampage, and Rìtiān calmed Gaara by reaching him through the Mind Dialogue Technique. After the village’s crisis eased, Rìtiān sensed Sasori and Obito Uchiha nearby, suggesting more danger remained.

  • Uchiha Rìtiān, Shikaku, Jingyue, and Hayate arrived in Sunagakure as Gaara rampaged in his Partial Tailed Beast Transformation.
  • Shikaku restrained Gaara briefly with the Shadow Imitation Technique, and Uchiha Rìtiān saved Rasa from Gaara’s claw with an Earth-Style Wall.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān used the Mind Dialogue Technique to comfort young Gaara and persuade him to use his power to protect others.
  • Gaara returned to normal and embraced Rasa, while Uchiha Rìtiān completed the mission to protect Sunagakure and received rewards.
  • Uchiha Rìtiān sensed Sasori and an even stronger chakra he recognized as Obito Uchiha’s, and realized the danger was not over.
