After spending the whole day at the amusement park, they did not return to the residential complex until nine that evening.
Xu Shi was utterly exhausted and simply leaned his whole body against Xie Yanci. Even with that support, his legs still felt weak as he walked.
"I'm so tired..."
He should never have gone on those roller coasters and pendulum rides with Xie Yanci.
He had been scared half to death, while a certain big-shot CEO had seemed to rediscover his childhood, smiling more brightly than the sun.
He had never seen Xie Yanci so happy before.
"Slow down." Xie Yanci wrapped an arm tightly around his waist, afraid he might accidentally fall.
Cars could not enter the complex. As a renter, Xu Shi could not buy an underground parking space, so Xie Yanci could only park his car in a space outside.
The complex was huge. The walk from the main entrance to Building Thirteen would take around ten minutes.
Xie Yanci looked around, and only after finding no one nearby did he ask quietly, "Want me to carry you on my back?"

Xu Shi forced himself upright and looked around. Surprisingly, there was not a single person in the complex at nine in the evening.
He thought for a second. "Yes."
He was so tired.
Too tired to take another step.
The wind was strong that night. He felt as though he could see his own soul drifting away.
Xie Yanci walked in front of him and slowly crouched down. The wedding ring on his right ring finger seemed to sparkle beneath the streetlights.
Xu Shi took a deep breath and flopped straight onto Xie Yanci's back. "I'm so tired. So tired, hubby~"
Since he had accepted his ring, they
