After locking his phone, Nan Zhou lay on the bed and stared at the ceiling. Suddenly, something occurred to him, and he climbed back up.
He found the suitcase he had packed earlier in the walk-in closet, originally for his trip with Huo Xingye, opened it, and took out two little things.
He put the bunny ears on his head and tugged the cords in front of the mirror. The little bunny ears immediately stood up, looking rather amusing.
Nan Zhou lowered his eyes to the little wolf ears in his hand and licked his lips. Imagining how Huo Xingye would look wearing them, he couldn't help swallowing.
Clutching the wolf-ear earmuffs, he hurried out of the room.
In the living room, Huo Xingye sat on the couch with his back to him, doing something he couldn't see.
With his mind entirely on the two little cosplay accessories, Nan Zhou paid it no attention. He came out of the room and reached the couch in a few strides. Before the Alpha could react, he hopped onto the couch with quick, natural ease and sat in his lap.
Under Huo Xingye's slightly astonished gaze, Nan Zhou put the little wolf ears on him. "Just as handsome as I thought!"
"Look at me! Look at my ears!" Nan Zhou tugged the cords, and the little bunny ears immediately stood up. "I originally bought these to use the night we went camping. What a shame."
Huo Xingye said nothing, his expression a little odd.
Seeing this, Nan Zhou deliberately teased him. "You said such sweet things last night when you were coaxing me to call you hubby. Now that you're satisfied, you won't even pay attention to me?"
Huo Xingye had slipped an arm around his slender waist when he jumped onto him.
