By the time Huo Xingye arrived at Nan Zhou's home last night, it was already well past midnight.
"I wish we had, too." Huo Xingye smiled.
They hadn't seen in the New Year together?!
Tang Tang was stunned.
Then Huo Xingye really had come over to Nan Zhou's place first thing in the morning, but Nan Zhou wasn't even awake yet. What was the point?
Huo Xingye glanced at his phone and strode into the living room, stopping where he could see the entryway.
Outside the open door, his assistant stood holding a bag of steaming breakfast, his face expressionless, like a mere tool.
Beside him stood Nan Zhou's manager, Hao Jia, looking positively ferocious.
At Huo Xingye's signal, the assistant carried the breakfast bag inside and handed it to him, watching as he took the food out and arranged it on the table on camera.
"Mr. Huo, did you come especially to bring Mr. Nan a loving breakfast?" Tang Tang asked.
"No." The image of Nan Zhou's fridge, empty apart from junk food, flashed through Huo Xingye's mind, and he couldn't help smiling.
...Then what on earth had he come for?!

"I'll leave once he comes out," Huo Xingye replied.
Almost as soon as he finished speaking, a click finally came from the tightly shut bedroom door. The camera swung over as the door opened, and Nan Zhou appeared on-screen, yawning.
