As Old Man God left, the enormous eye beyond the world slowly closed as well.
It was as though nothing had happened.
The World of Nothingness returned to deathly silence.
Hitogami stared blankly at the empty World of Nothingness, standing motionless for a long time, not knowing what he should do next.
"What were those four things I couldn't get out of my mind?"
Hitogami muttered to himself. He could no longer remember exactly what those four things were.
Nor did he know what had actually happened.
When he came to his senses, all that remained was the empty World of Nothingness and his own bewildered self.
The moment everything returned to calm, the contingency Old Man God had left behind activated.
"Turn the whole situation around!"
As those words fell, the Void Realm hidden in the World of Nothingness began to give off a dim glow.
A strange fluctuation spread outward from it, affecting the entire World of Nothingness.
Hitogami's vacant gaze instantly came alive.
"I remember those four things!"
"But who said them? And why are they in my head?"
Hitogami frowned. Although he remembered those four pieces of advice, he had no memories associated with them, as though someone had stuffed those four things into his head out of thin air.
"No, wait!"
"I can sense the outside. My power has extended into the Six-Faced World?"
Hitogami suddenly noticed something and snapped his head up.
To his surprise, he discovered that a crack had actually appeared in the World of Nothingness that sealed him away!
His power could reach the Six-Faced World through that crack. After thousands of years, he could finally intervene directly in the outside world again!
"Turn the whole situation around..."
"I think I understand something..."
