Phew! We finally made it to this day!
To be honest, this past month has been agonizing, and I know it's been the same for all of you!
After following the story this far, I understand that feeling of finding it tasteless to continue yet a pity to abandon it!
But there was nothing I could do!
I'd been writing it for nearly two years. I couldn't just leave it unfinished, could I?
Of course, this ending was rather rushed. I wouldn't dispute it if you called it a mere account of events!
I'm helpless too!
This certainly wasn't the ending I wanted. After all, before May, I was still full of confidence that I could write a good ending!
Unfortunately, it was only later that I realized many things had truly been fated from the moment the book began, and it was difficult to change them afterward!
There was also the fact that after May, when I discovered I had nothing left to write, all my creative passion and inspiration suddenly vanished!
If this had happened six months ago, I would have stopped for half a month or even a month to search for that passion and inspiration!
But with the word count already this high, and the planned completion date and word count so close, I really didn't have the inclination anymore!
After all, I didn't know whether stopping like that would mean stopping forever!
What if, after stopping, I started thinking, Why not just start a new book instead?
So in the end, I gritted my teeth and wrote this ending that everyone was dissatisfied with, but that at least gave the story some kind of conclusion!
