A composed female voice came slowly from the other end.
"Understood. What's your current situation? Vought has officially classified your departure as an unauthorized escape and betrayal of the company, and has issued an online manhunt for you. Also, Homelander is putting heavy pressure on the board. He appears to be trying to initiate the process of replacing the CEO. The overall situation is complete chaos."
Edgar's expression darkened, his already black face turning even darker.
Gloom clouded his brow, and his voice was bone-chilling.
"I'm safe for now. JS's strength has completely exceeded my estimates. Not only did he kill Black Noir, but Stormfront died at his hands as well. He's now pushing the board to change leadership to secure his position as Vought's CEO. Keep a close eye on his every move and pass any intelligence to me immediately."
The woman fell silent briefly, then asked:
"How should I contact you going forward?"
Edgar was silent for a moment. A cautious, cold glint flashed in his eyes as he answered gravely:
