Charles's voice trembled slightly with shock:
"You... you can even copy my telepathy?!"
"That's not all."
Raven winked mysteriously, looking like a child who had just received a new toy and could hardly wait to show her closest friend her marvelous treasure.
Her clothes and physique underwent another drastic transformation. In the blink of an eye, she became Erik, his gaze cold and his entire body radiating an oppressive presence!
The corners of Raven's mouth lifted slightly as, wearing "Erik's" form, she gently crooked a finger toward the coffee table.
Whoosh!
The coffee cup that the real Erik had forcibly crushed into a solid iron ball with his magnetic field earlier now rose into the air as though answering some summons, traced a smooth arc, and landed securely in her palm.
"Compound V helped me completely break free of my genetic constraints."
Raven stroked the cold iron ball in her palm, her eyes shining.
"Now, as long as I take on someone else's appearance, I can perfectly replicate their X-Gene at the cellular level and use their ability directly!"
At that, Raven shed Erik's features and returned to her original blue form, full of wild beauty and exotic allure.
She put aside her playful attitude, her gaze more serious and solemn than ever.
Looking straight into Charles's conflicted eyes, she held out her hand once more:
"Charles, wake up. The CIA has never truly accepted you. From beginning to end, they've only treated you as tools they can sacrifice and discard at any time. Only at Vought, under the boss's leadership, can mutants truly tear apart prejudice and shackles and usher in a new era of our own! Join us, Charles!"
Faced with her invitation and Raven's unbelievable display of power, Charles wavered more intensely than he ever had before.
