But the second sister, Calypso, standing beside her, gave a cold laugh, the corners of her lips curving upward.

Calypso strode forward on her long legs, moving as silently as a highly venomous mamba to Teth-Adam's side.
She rose slightly onto her toes and brought her eerie face close to Adam's ear.

Adam's powerful body abruptly stiffened, and the lightning around him rapidly dimmed as though drained of its power.
His deep-set eyes lost focus. The whites began to be swallowed by dense blackness at a visible pace, finally becoming an utterly emotionless abyss.

Like a marionette, Adam numbly and mechanically repeated the instructions Calypso had instilled in him.
Watching Adam become a puppet completely under her control, Calypso's eyes shone brightly.
She looked at her two sisters in satisfaction, a smile blossoming across her face.
Then she raised a hand, gently patted Teth-Adam's shoulder, and said softly:
"Very good. Now... take us to the inheritor of the Champion Power!"
