Ismael stopped the East and North District captains from fighting by giving them part of his share, then waited through the night until the passage into the Ancient Kahndaq ruins opened. Inside, Adrianna Tomaz translated an inscription about humanity’s aptitude for magic and susceptibility to darkness, which Hassan mocked.

  • Ismael offered the East and North District captains ten percent of his share, and they withdrew with their men.
  • Ismael waited as his men dug through the night while Hassan fell asleep nearby.
  • A subordinate announced that the passage was open, and Ismael led his men toward the entrance.

Ch. 363The Crown of Sabbac!
