"Qin Feng, you bastard!"
Morgana's roar tore through the entire airspace.
"I worked my ass off to build the Demon Legion, and you just wiped it out? I'll fight you to the death!"
She swept both hands forward, and two Demon's Claws flashed through space wormholes in front of Qin Feng. They were about to close around his entire body when their tips abruptly stopped less than half a foot away from him.
They had struck an invisible barrier.
The barrier could neither be seen nor touched, yet the moment the claw tips made contact, an extremely faint golden ripple spread across it, like ripples spreading over water when a stone was thrown in.
Qin Feng stood where he was, without even changing his posture.
He merely tilted his head, glanced at the two Demon's Claws, and then a black light flashed in his eyes.
A black fissure opened silently before him.
Thick darkness churned along its edges, like a mouth split open in the void.
Before Morgana could react, the fissure swallowed both Demon's Claws in a single gulp.
The fissure immediately closed, vanishing without a trace.
Morgana was stunned by the sight.
She instinctively raised her hand to recall her weapons, but when her consciousness reached into the dark plane, all she received was a cold blank.
Something had severed her connection to the Demon's Claws, cleanly and decisively, without leaving even a trace of feedback.
"Where did you put my Demon's Claws?"
Her voice was shrill and urgent, and an almost frantic agitation churned in her dark purple eyes.
"Relax, I didn't break them."
Qin Feng kept his hands in his pockets, his tone utterly casual. "I just found them somewhere new to stay. Once you've calmed down, we can discuss when I'll return them."
"Damn it!"
