Tami dropped her joking expression, carefully completed the verification, and pressed her fingerprint onto the electronic signing pad.
The silver-gray card case was placed on the prepared counter.
The officer entered the first part of the password, and Tami entered the second.
The indicator light inside the lid turned from red to green, and all four security locks sprang open at once.

Dozens of Booster Packs were arranged neatly inside, each wrapped in transparent protective film, with the joint emblem of the International Fantasy Society, Kaiba Corporation, and Duel Academy printed on its cover.
Yūki's gaze instantly turned serious.
After counting the packs, Tami smiled again and beckoned him over.
"All right, today's new cards are ready for sale. Three cards per pack, two credits plus a hundred thousand each."
Yūki had just reached the counter when his steps slowed.
"Two credits, and another hundred thousand?"
"That's right."
Tami explained quite patiently, "Credits give you purchasing eligibility within the academy. The cash pays for the cards themselves."
"And they're random Booster Packs?"
"No one knows what's inside until they're opened. Pulling the card you want is the most exciting part of buying Booster Packs!"
Tami made it sound quite infectious.
