Yūki raised the card in his hand.
"I activate the Equip Spell Card, Butterfly Dagger - Elma."
The butterfly design on the card glowed purple.
Countless tiny motes of light flew out of the Spell Zone, forming a dagger wrapped in blue-purple patterns.
The dagger circled Gearfried the Iron Knight once, then settled into his palm.
"The equipped monster gains three hundred attack points."
Gearfried the Iron Knight tightened his grip on the dagger.

Chazz Princeton frowned.
"Only three hundred? What do you expect to do with that little attack power?"
"Fire Princess is still nowhere near strong enough, and Gearfried the Iron Knight can't attack this turn."
"You're just throwing away your last resources to activate one more Spell Card!"
Yūki ignored his taunts.
"Spell Absorption activates. I regain five hundred Life Points."
Yūki's Life Points rose from six thousand one hundred to six thousand five hundred.
Fire Princess raised her staff.
"Fire Princess's effect activates, dealing five hundred damage to my opponent."
A crimson serpent of flame lunged out again.
Chazz Princeton raised his arm to shield himself. The flames struck his dueling uniform, and a great wave of heat burst before him.

"Hmph!"
Chazz Princeton coughed and wiped the ash from his face.
"See? That's your limit!"
"You don't have any Spell Cards left. That last one only knocked my Life Points down from fifteen hundred to one thousand."
"Once my turn comes, I'll make you pay for using this deck!"
"Is that so?"
Yūki looked at Gearfried the Iron Knight.
"The Equip Card equipped to Gearfried the Iron Knight is destroyed."
A cold gleam suddenly flashed across Gearfried the Iron Knight's armor.
He raised his other hand and seized Butterfly Dagger - Elma.
