Zhi Daolin enjoyed drinking tea, and Zhi Fahan often picked tea for him, so he knew the area around Tang Mountain very well. He led Chen Caozhi and the others five or six li along the winding mountain path to the southeastern slope of Tang Mountain, then stopped to wait for Chen Caozhi to catch up. Pointing toward the drifting vapor, he said, "Layman Chen, Tang Mountain's hot springs are concentrated here, and there are many Five-Colored Refiner Stones too. They are quite wondrous. The local people say these are stones Nüwa left behind when she mended the heavens. Would you like to go and look now?"
Chen Caozhi asked Lu Weiwei's opinion. She said, "Let's look on our way back."
Chen Caozhi smiled. "Good. That leaves us something to look forward to, so we can go in high spirits and return in high spirits."
They continued on, admiring the scenery of Tang Mountain and Mount Hua as they went. Verdant trees lined the way, with birdsong and fragrant flowers everywhere. With Chen Caozhi beside her, Lu Weiwei did not feel tired, though this was her first time walking so far along mountain paths without stopping. Instead, she wished the path would stretch on without end, so Master Chen could keep holding her hand as they walked-
