The Out-of-Control Supe had no limbs he could use, so he could only wriggle along on his torso like a maggot.
His blood left a dark red trail across the ground. Homelander stood with his hands behind his back. "Need any help?"
The Out-of-Control Supe ignored him. Finding himself snubbed, Homelander gave him a light kick.
The blood-soaked body traced an arc through the air, landed on the ground, rolled a few times, and came to a precise stop in front of the warehouse.
He wasn't annoyed at being kicked. He knocked his head against the warehouse door over and over, making dull thudding sounds.
Irregular dents immediately appeared in the warehouse's sheet-metal doors.
Homelander silently walked up to the warehouse and pulled the doors toward himself. They opened.
He had thought this monster had regained his senses, but apparently he'd been overthinking it.
Looking inside the warehouse, he found nothing unusual, just piles of miscellaneous items.
Homelander slowly scanned his surroundings. Of everything his X-Ray Vision swept over, only one corner of the west wall remained impenetrable.
He didn't need to think to know there was zinc sandwiched inside the wall.
It was the only thing in the world that could completely block his X-Ray Vision.
He walked over and lightly swung his fist. The entire false wall burst apart, revealing an elevator hidden behind it.
But the elevator was already out of service. Its control panel had been deliberately smashed, and all its wiring was burned out.
Homelander couldn't be bothered to investigate. With a slight push of his legs, he broke through the elevator floor and jumped straight down.
A small experimental facility hidden underground came into view. The pungent smell of disinfectant mixed with the stench of blood hit him in the face.
"Fuck," Homelander murmured
