Taking four people across the Star Domain was not actually difficult for Algalon. If necessary, he could take nearly a hundred people at once, but that would reduce his near-instantaneous speed to an unbearable degree and consume a tremendous amount of the Observer of the Realms' stamina.
There was another reason Algalon served Dick so devotedly. After joining the Ulduar System, he had unexpectedly discovered one of his own kind... yes, another Observer of the Realms: Hablon, the Soulbinder who served Helya, whom Dick had captured in the Shadowlands.
Hablon's form was incomplete. According to Algalon's observations, Hablon was likely the remains of a fully formed Observer of the Realms. He was probably a special form that had evolved after the death of some champion who had risked his life to bring word to Azeroth when the Pantheon was destroyed. The bewildered Hablon did not even know of the great mission contained within his own body.
However, after Algalon recalibrated Hablon's core, this predecessor also gained an Observer of the Realms' ability to travel between worlds. Dick had given him another mission, and that mission itself was the fundamental reason Algalon was willing to devote everything he had to the Ulduar System.
Of course, this was one of Ulduar's most deeply hidden secrets, and Algalon would not go spreading it around. By the time he set foot in Ulduar with Turalyon and his wife, Chieftain Hatuun, and a visibly conflicted Sylvanas, three days had already passed.
The journey had left Algalon tired, so he soon went to rest in the Celestial Planetarium. For an Observer of the Realms, bathing in starlight was the best way to rest. The four travelers, meanwhile, each had different people waiting to welcome them.
When the respectful Earthen squires pushed open the doors to Ulduar's
