"Turalyon, how is the fleet's refitting coming along?"
Dick sat at the head of the hall in Tempest Keep. Seated on either side of him were leaders from the various factions of Azeroth, Draenor, and Argus. He looked toward the fleet's commander-in-chief, who sat to one side, and Turalyon answered in a steady voice,
"Things look fairly good so far. The soldiers were a little exhausted after the space battle over Krokuun, but we won, after all. It was an unprecedented victory. After three days of rest, they've recovered their fighting strength. However, morale is generally low among the captains who lost their starships, and the ground assault troops suffered heavy casualties. They may need more time."
"Then give them more time."
Dick nodded slightly. "Next, we'll attack the Antoran Wastes. Once we capture Antorus fortress, this expedition to Argus will be a complete victory. As for those demons, we don't have enough troops to deal with them, so I intend to deploy the starships. After we take the Antorus Throne, we'll wait for the Sargerite Keystone to recover, and then we can head home."
"Why not just use the starships to kill all those demons? They can't threaten our fleet anyway!"
The heavily bearded Dark Iron king, Thaurissan, spoke loudly. "It would be a one-sided slaughter. I don't think anyone would feel sympathy for those demons!"
The proposal quickly won the approval of the captains present. Although they had won this battle, every captain keenly felt the losses. Of ninety assault starships, only fifty remained intact. Almost everyone present wore a black ribbon around an arm to mourn the fallen.
