Sitting blankly in his wheelchair, Zhao Zicheng was momentarily at a loss for words.
"Heh, let the world think me foolish, laugh at me, insult me, curse me, bully me, humiliate me, slander me, defame me!"
Zhao Zicheng scoffed, only halfway through when Yu Sheng mused, "Just endure them, yield to them, let them be, avoid them, bear with them, respect them, ignore them, and wait a few years... to become a muggle?"
"I'm going to train."
Zhao Zicheng turned his wheelchair around and silently headed into the distance.
Yu Sheng looked thoughtful. "Perhaps the person sitting by the roadside late at night, head in their hands and sobbing, isn't necessarily someone with a story. It's you, training hard but still falling short of everyone else."
Xu Yuanqing was stunned. "Where did you learn all this toxic motivational crap?"
"I saw it online. Everyone said it was really healing to read."
"I just wanted to comfort him."
Yu Sheng looked somewhat bewildered. "Was it not enough? I have more..."
As he spoke, Yu Sheng took out his phone and scrolled through it. It was packed with entries of "chicken soup for the soul" meant to comfort others.
Xu Yuanqing glanced over them and suddenly fell silent.
No wonder Yu Sheng had been saying increasingly strange things these past two days.
Reading these ridiculous posts every day... the fact that he could still remain a reasonably normal-looking person already spoke to his exceptional mental fortitude.
"Next time... read less of this stuff."
After saying this faintly, Xu Yuanqing likewise moved a little farther away from Yu Sheng.
Only Yu Sheng remained somewhat puzzled. Watching their retreating backs, he murmured to himself, "Not healing enough?"
"I think they're fine."
He watched wisps of gray gas spread from the tops of their heads
