"See for yourself."
Deep in a vast, boundless forest, a beast covered in scales lay on the ground.
A sheet of paper slowly drifted down from midair.
There was writing on it, along with a photograph.
White Ape stood before Giant Beast, looking at the writing on the paper and A Tai's guileless smile in the photograph. At a loss, his eyes filled with panic, he prostrated himself before Giant Beast.
"Aren't you going to explain?"
Giant Beast turned his enormous head, his deep eyes regarding White Ape indifferently.
"I... I'll definitely catch... catch him and bring him back."
White Ape trembled all over, his voice shaking so badly that he no longer even dared to raise his head.
"You know what the Half-Demon Human Plan means."
"If you can't bring him back, your White Ape Clan will be the main force attacking the Human Race's passes next year."
Giant Beast's voice was cold as he slowly closed his eyes.
"Yes... yes..."
Before Giant Beast, White Ape did not even have the courage to stand. Still trembling on his knees, he kept retreating backward.
Only after he had disappeared from Giant Beast's sight did he brace himself against a tree and stand up.
His expression gradually calmed from its earlier panic.
He narrowed his eyes slightly.
"The Human Race actually gave him shelter!"
"Such hypocrisy."
A mocking smile touched his lips. He glanced toward the depths of the forest again, took a deep breath, then turned and left, returning to his own tribe.
It was in the same forest, only on its outskirts.
The energy was thin.
Even the energy-bearing fruits and plants in the surrounding area were extremely scarce.
"Find a way to contact the half-demon humans in the Human Domain."
"Have them follow the instructions in this letter."
