Lu You approved Abu’s plan to rename Kusagakure’s growing city the City of Divine Descent. Meanwhile, Itachi met Uzumaki Xiangli, and Utakata and Killer B discovered that the other Jinchūriki were finding ways to settle into life in the Land of Grass.

• Uzumaki Xiangli invited Itachi to buy three-color dango, and the two children visited Utakata’s shop.
• Utakata concluded that the Uchiha and Uzumaki Clans had chosen to back the Land of Grass and told Killer B they should give up escaping.
• Killer B returned to their temporary residence and learned that Roshi had joined a temple, Han had become a Ninja Academy instructor, and the Two-Tails Jinchūriki had accepted a technology job.

Killer B struggled to find work in the City of Divine Descent before joining an agency as an idol, while the Land of Grass continued to prosper. After the Nine-Tails attacked Konoha and Minato and Kushina died, the nations considered war as the God of Shinobi wondered how Obito had caused the rampage.

• Killer B failed to find respectable work and joined an agency after a talent scout declared he was born to be an idol.
• Several months later, the Fourth Raikage saw a poster announcing Killer B's concert tour in the Land of Grass and was shocked by his dancing.
