She did not dare say it loudly, though, partly because she feared outsiders would hear, and partly because she feared Xu Ran would not come to her that night after hearing it.
Although her lips said no, her heart was very honest.
If Xu Ran did not come to her, she would lose out terribly.
There were so many women around Xu Ran now that she only had two or three chances a month to be alone with him. Of course, it was not only two or three times, but... th-that did not count as being alone.
With so many people sleeping soundly, she did not even dare share her innermost thoughts with Xu Ran. Granted, by then she would certainly be too exhausted to say a single word, but it was still better than sharing Xu Ran with so many others.
