Kibutsuji Muzan did not move. Neither did Tetsu no Sosuke.
They stood where they were, watching each other.
Kibutsuji Muzan spoke softly. "I gave you many chances."
"Should I thank you?" Tetsu no Sosuke smiled mockingly.
"Who do you think you can still protect today?" Kibutsuji Muzan said. "I'll give you one last chance. Submit to me. Serve me loyally, and I'll grant you power beyond that of ordinary men!"

It was impossible!
If that was impossible, then what was Tetsu no Sosuke trying to do?
Kibutsuji Muzan was a clever demon, and he could not help thinking it over.

He showed no intention of making a move.
Kibutsuji Muzan narrowed his eyes. "Are you waiting for me to strike?"
"You can stay put, too. I don't mind." Tetsu no Sosuke smiled. "The outcome will be the same either way."
