Hammering a Demon!

He wanted nothing more than to tear apart the human before him who had actually managed to send him flying, then feast on his flesh.

Clang, crack!

While the demon was still seething, the Heavenly Crafting Hammer struck his right arm first. A dull thud was followed immediately by the sharp crunch of shattering bone.

His rage turned to shock. Then tremendous force surged through his body, sending him hurtling like a cannonball straight into one of the temple's massive pillars.

Boom!

Dust billowed everywhere, only to be immediately beaten down by the rain. Roof tiles fell from overhead, and Tetsu no Sosuke hurriedly hugged the Sword Case to his chest, retreating two steps to dodge them.

He looked around. Where was the demon?

"It hurts so much..."

A faint voice came from beneath the pillar.

He followed the voice with his eyes. Even as the one responsible, he could barely bear to look.

It was pretty gruesome. He had beaten the demon out of shape.

Tetsu no Sosuke stared at his own hand in astonishment, then looked at the demon beneath the pillar. "Did I do that?"

The demon's face darkened. Who else could it have been? Did you think I did it to myself?

His body writhed and struggled, his bones constantly cracking back into alignment. As he fought to stand, he said coldly, "How dare you do this to me..."

Just then, his foot slipped, and he dropped to his knees with a thump.

With his forehead pressed against the ground, he still snarled viciously, "I'll eat you... I'll eat you for sure!!!!"

He jerked his head up, determined to make that damned human look into his vicious eyes.

But when he looked up, what he saw was a hammer descending from above!

"Justice from above!!!"

Chapter 16: Hammering a Demon!

Bam!

The hammer slammed into the demon's head, spraying blood everywhere in an instant.

Tetsu no Sosuke panted heavily as he stared at the demon's head beneath the hammer.

He had absolutely no interest in looking at any vicious eyes.

He might not have had any experience fighting demons, but he had watched plenty of anime!

He knew ordinary weapons could never kill these demonic things, so no matter how miserable this one looked, he absolutely could not give him even a moment to recover.

Since the demon had happened to lose his footing and slip to the ground, there was nothing to hesitate over.

He swung the Heavenly Crafting Hammer in a full arc and gave him one brutal blow.
