Yuichiro could barely keep himself from glaring at Tetsu no Sosuke.
Tetsu no Sosuke merely smiled. "If you join the Demon Slayer Corps, you'll face things like that all the time. You'll keep finding yourself in situations where survival seems impossible. It really is dangerous. Even I've nearly died at the hands of demons several times. So I'm not going to force you. Truly. No one has the right to take away another person's chance to live a good life. Not me, not the Demon Slayer Corps, and certainly not its leader. The decision is still yours. What I've taught you is only the barest beginning."
He paused, then continued. "But this world needs people willing to step forward. They join for all sorts of reasons. Some want to avenge their families. Some have no one left to rely on. Some might simply want to earn a decent wage. Who knows? Whatever their reasons, they're working to make this world a little cleaner. Most of them have no special talent. Right now, at this very moment, somewhere in the world, a member of the Demon Slayer Corps may be getting slaughtered by a demon... But when that person was able to hold a sword, they stepped forward. That deserves respect."
With that, he gave the brothers no chance to respond. He stood, stretched, and said, "All right, enough talk. Get some sleep. I really am leaving tomorrow. You have the night to choose your future. That's that."

That was close. I almost forgot to upload again. I'd finished writing and was about to go spend time with my wife when I suddenly remembered there was something I hadn't done... I'd even shut down my computer... Oops!
