"How is your health?" Tetsu no Sosuke asked.
"Worse by the day..." Ubuyashiki Kagaya sighed softly. "Now, my only hope is to see what I wish to see while I'm still alive. But as things stand, I don't know whether I'll live long enough."
Though his words sounded somewhat despairing, there was a trace of calm in Ubuyashiki Kagaya's voice.
He seemed ready to face any outcome.

The moment the door closed, a rune appeared on it, then vanished in a flash.
Beyond the entrance was a long corridor. Looking around as he walked, Tetsu no Sosuke said with a smile, "This place looks pretty nice. So, now that you're demons in the Demon Slayer Corps, they haven't been treating you badly, have they? If the benefits aren't good enough, I'll take it up with the Master for you."
