Tyrion tried to compose himself, hoping to seem relaxed as he casually told the story of his "first whore."
But his expression was badly twisted, making his already unattractive face even uglier.
In the end, he could hardly conceal the pain and panic in his eyes.
Watching his attempt to feign composure, Davion could not help chuckling:
"So, Lord Tyrion, you really do stop caring the moment you pull your cock out!"
"Unlike me. I remember my girls very clearly. Every one of them is etched into my heart."
After years of mockery and oppression, Tyrion had developed an exceptionally resilient disposition.
He quickly suppressed the turmoil within him, waved a hand as though he did not care at all, and burst into exaggerated laughter:
"Davion, you're still too young. You haven't experienced enough!"
"They were only a few whores. Hardly worth remembering!"
"At your age, I'd already slept with no fewer than two hundred whores! Hahahaha!"
Davion laughed inwardly:
Keep pretending. I just love watching you force a smile and say the opposite of what you mean. Hahahahaha!
He did not continue needling Tyrion. Instead, he changed the subject and asked:
"Lord Tyrion, enough about whores. Tell me, what exactly did you come to see me about? Surely you didn't just come to mock my shabby tent?"
"Have you forgotten, Davion?"
Tyrion stopped smiling, a hint of slyness in his eyes.
"We still have a wager! I'm not letting you sneak away!"
Davion smiled and shook his head:
"Oh, so that's it! Don't worry. With tens of thousands of Gold Dragons awaiting the champion of the Hand's Tourney, I couldn't bear to leave!"
"Even without your thousand Gold Dragons."
Tyrion burst out laughing again and patted Davion's arm, which was all his height allowed him to reach.
"Davion, I just love how ignorant and confident you are!"
As he spoke, Tyrion reached out, caught Davion's sleeve, and urged him outside:
"Come along. The opening ceremony is about to start. I made a point of finding you a good seat!"
"So you can get a proper look at just how formidable your opponents will be."
This surprised Davion considerably. He had not expected Tyrion to go to the trouble of finding him a seat, and he could not help thinking:
It seems visiting whores together really does strengthen friendships between men!
The seats Tyrion had found were excellent indeed, just to the right of the main viewing stand, only a few steps from the king's seat.
Those seated here were all heads of the most powerful, influential houses in the Seven Kingdoms, along with their nobles.
Every one of them wore lavish clothes and carried themselves with distinction.
The seats for ordinary nobles were arranged far out on the perimeter, farther from the king.
Davion, Tyrion, and Gendry, who followed behind them, went to their places together.
Gendry maintained his attendant's bearing, standing respectfully behind Davion as he surveyed the surrounding nobles and magnificent viewing stand with curious eyes full of awe.
Just then, the two rows of trumpeters standing on either side below the tourney field raised their long trumpets together and sounded a resounding blast.
"Bwooo-"
The sustained trumpet call pierced the sky and rang throughout the tourney grounds.
The noisy crowd instantly fell silent.
Every gaze converged on the platform beneath the main viewing stand.
A master of ceremonies in splendid formal attire stood at the center of the platform, holding an enormous speaking trumpet:
"My lords, knights, honored guests who have traveled from afar, and subjects!"
"By the blessing of the Seven and the grace of our king, this tourney celebrating Prince Joffrey's fifteenth Name Day now officially begins!"
"With steel as our witness and honor as our oath, we shall witness the fearless valor of knights and sing the praises of the royal family's boundless benevolence and might!"
"May the Seven protect every contestant. May fairness and glory endure throughout this tourney. May the brave achieve their wishes, and may the glorious be remembered in history!"
"Now, allow me to solemnly introduce the royal family, who wield authority over the Seven Kingdoms and protect all their people!"
"First, let us pay our highest respects to the bedrock of the realm, ruler of the Seven Kingdoms, Protector of the Realm, King Robert Baratheon of House Baratheon!"
As the master of ceremonies finished, thunderous applause and cheers erupted throughout the grounds.
The commoners waved their cloths and shouted, "Long live the king!" with fervor and devotion!
Davion marveled inwardly:
This fellow Robert really does have an absurdly high reputation among the people. These commoners actually adore him this much? It seems his overthrow of the Targaryen Dynasty really did win the people's hearts.
At the height of the cheering, an exceptionally tall, fat figure slowly emerged from the entrance to the main viewing stand.
The figure stood about two meters tall, his entire body piled with fat, looking for all the world like a moving ball of flesh!
He wore a loose royal robe, but even that could hardly conceal his protruding belly.
With every step he took, his fat quivered!
Behind him came Joffrey, Tommen, Myrcella, and the other members of the royal family, along with the leading nobles of House Lannister and House Baratheon. The large procession slowly ascended the main viewing stand.
Davion felt as though he could clearly hear the wooden boards of the stand groaning and creaking under Robert's immense weight!
He instinctively frowned and silently grumbled:
Fuck, isn't Robert a bit too fat? That belly could probably hold an entire Tyrion!
How did the valiant knight who slew Rhaegar single-handedly back then get this fat?
At that moment, the master of ceremonies spoke again:
"Walking beside the king is the most exalted woman in the realm, once the light of the Westerlands, and now the light of our Seven Kingdoms!"
"Queen Cersei Lannister!"
"Her grace and beauty are unrivaled. Dignified and majestic, she possesses both House Lannister's supreme wisdom and the royal family's lofty bearing!"
"For years, she has assisted the king, upheld the glory of the royal family, and protected the people of the Seven Kingdoms!"
Hearing this, Davion's face was a picture of utter bewilderment:
Unrivaled grace and beauty? Dignified and majestic? Wisdom? Bearing?
Are you blind, master of ceremonies?
What the fuck do any of those words have to do with Cersei, that ruthless woman with the brains of a pig?
He must have taken Gold Dragons from the Lannisters!
He looked toward the main viewing stand again, but all he could see was Robert's enormous bulk, which completely blocked Cersei behind him. Not even a strand of her hair was visible.
Davion could not help rolling his eyes and thinking:
With that build, Robert is practically a walking shield. Walking beside him, Cersei probably can't even feel the wind.
After the introduction ended, Robert showed no intention of stepping aside and simply continued toward the throne in the center.
Growing anxious, Cersei hurried two steps forward and finally emerged from behind his enormous body.
She forced a suitable smile onto her face and slowly waved to the people below the stand, her posture elegant, though it could not conceal the arrogance in her eyes.
That one look left Davion utterly stunned!
He stared at Cersei, even unconsciously holding his breath for a moment:
Is this really fucking Cersei from Game of Thrones? Isn't the difference a bit too big?
(The Cersei in the television series was too ugly! Depp's ex-wife is a closer match, both stupid and wicked in personality too!)
Cersei's dazzling golden hair cascaded over her shoulders and down her back like a waterfall, gleaming with the delicate sheen of satin!
Sunlight fell upon it, making it even more brilliant and dazzling!
Her brow bones were sharply defined, the corners of her eyes tilted slightly upward, and her emerald-green eyes were like sharp knives dipped in honey!
As her gaze shifted, it held both soul-stealing allure and an innate, untamed edge. That blend of arrogance and seductive charm made it impossible to look away.
Her skin was whiter than snow, so delicate it seemed a breath or touch might break it. Her facial contours were exquisite and soft, with a high, straight nose and full, rosy lips, the corners holding a casual, languid smile.
Davion's gaze involuntarily traveled downward, settling on Cersei's figure.
She was tall and straight, with a slender waist and not a trace of excess fat.
A velvet gown with subtle gold patterns clung tightly to her body, perfectly outlining her firm, uplifted buttocks and waist to form striking curves!
With every step, her full breasts beneath the gown gently quivered!
She was utterly enchanting, tugging at the heartstrings.
Davion unconsciously licked his lips and shouted inwardly:
Fuck your Seven!
So this is the so-called light of the Westerlands? She certainly lives up to the name!
Is Robert blind?
He won't even fuck such a stunning beauty, and goes looking for whores instead!
He instinctively turned again to look at Tyrion beside him:
Fuck, no wonder there are rumors that Tywin suspects Tyrion isn't his biological son. I'd suspect it too!
They're not even built from the same set of parts!
I'm starting to understand Jaime. Who could possibly resist if a great beauty like Cersei took the initiative to seduce them?
