Davion's gaze slowly moved downward. Cersei wore a burgundy silk nightgown, its fabric as thin as a cicada's wing, soft and close-fitting, outlining every curve of her shapely figure.
The overlapping neckline hung loose, and because she lay on her side, the pale, lustrous skin on one side was completely exposed.
The other side of the neckline had slipped to her shoulder, revealing its delicate, rounded shape, which glowed softly in the candlelight.
The sash of her nightgown was tied tightly around her waist, making her slender figure look all the more graceful!
Farther down, the hem lay carelessly open, leaving her pale, full thighs completely exposed to the air, exuding a deadly allure.
Davion unconsciously licked his lips and returned his gaze to Cersei's face.
Her eyes were sultry, and a faint, haughty smile played on her lips, as though she had already anticipated this reaction from him.
At the sight of Davion's burning gaze, her smile grew even more self-satisfied, yet a barely perceptible trace of disdain lurked in her eyes!
It was as though she were saying that even the strongest man could not resist her charms in the end!
Despite displaying such a perfect body before him in so seductive a pose, Cersei seemed utterly unconcerned.
With her eyes half closed, she looked down her nose at Davion, then pointed toward the wine on the round table beside the bed and ordered:
"Come in. I'm a little thirsty. Go pour me a glass of wine."
She deliberately used that tone to order Davion about, making him do something only a servant would do.
Davion's earlier manner, neither servile nor overbearing, had displeased her. She wanted to use this opportunity to assert her authority as queen, make this young Earl recognize his station, and teach him obedience.
Davion, however, cared nothing for this "humiliation." He had already seen through Cersei's intentions and was inwardly overjoyed:
This is exactly the sort of thing I like! Even acting couldn't have produced a scene like this in my previous life!
The beauty before me is the genuine queen of the Seven Kingdoms. Just thinking about it gets my blood pumping!
He strode to the round table, picked up the bottle, and poured two glasses of wine.
Under Cersei's slightly surprised gaze, he walked to the bedside and handed her one glass. Holding the other himself, he gently clinked it against hers.
"Please enjoy, Your Grace. Your humble servant is a little thirsty too."
Davion drained his glass in one gulp, set it aside, and returned to stand beside the bed, so close that his thighs nearly touched its edge.
Cersei needed only to reach out from the bed to touch him.
Cersei took a small sip of wine and looked Davion up and down with sultry eyes:
"Earl Davion, where were we?"
"Oh, yes. You said you had a strong body and astonishing strength."
"But why can't I see it? Could it be that your clothes are hiding it?"
As she spoke, she drank again, taking considerably more than before. As she tilted her head back, the line of her neck became even more elegant.
She raised her eyes to meet Davion's, her voice growing slightly hoarse, carrying a seductive note she could barely conceal:
"Take off your clothes!"
After speaking, she gently bit her lower lip. That gesture alone made Davion's breathing grow even heavier.
Without the slightest hesitation, Davion removed the sword at his waist and laid it diagonally at the head of the bed.
Then he unfastened his belt and casually tossed it onto the carpet, and his robe immediately fell open.
Without pausing, he pulled off the shirt beneath it as well, revealing his lean, muscular upper body.
His smoothly defined muscles were not exaggerated, but they were full of strength.
Cersei rested her wineglass against her chest and slowly extended her free right hand, lightly touching Davion's lower abdomen with her fingertips.
"Keep going!"
The seductive note in her voice could no longer be concealed, and the desire in her eyes grew increasingly intense.
Davion obediently removed his trousers. Cersei's gaze was instantly drawn to him, and she unconsciously reached out, wanting to stroke his sharply defined abdominal muscles.
But the instant her fingertips touched Davion's warm, firm skin, her body gave a sudden shudder.
The wineglass resting against her chest immediately lost its balance and toppled onto the bed. Dark red wine ran down the bedding, soaking her nightgown.
The pale skin on the left side of her chest was immediately stained a faint burgundy by the wine.
Yet Cersei seemed entirely unaware, her gaze fixed unwaveringly on Davion.
The wonder and desire in her eyes were almost overflowing.
Her body was already filled with desire, but reason kept reminding her that she was the queen of the Seven Kingdoms. She could not give herself so easily to the petty noble before her.
What she wanted was this man's submission, his service!
His loyalty was to belong neither to the royal house nor to House Lannister, but to Cersei herself.
After a moment, Cersei's gaze slowly rose to meet Davion's burning eyes. Her voice barely regained a little composure, though it still carried a trace of breathlessness:
"Earl Davion, your body is indeed very strong."
No sooner had she spoken than her expression abruptly sharpened and her voice turned cold. She gave an order that brooked no resistance:
"Now, kneel."
Davion tilted his head and looked down at the queen on the bed, a teasing smile curling his lips:
"I won't kneel, Your Grace!"
"I only kneel when I'm in bed."
Those words exploded like a thunderclap in Cersei's mind. She instantly pictured Davion kneeling on the bed, and her heart lurched in alarm!
She knew she was gradually losing control!
Forcing down her panic, she swallowed, her tone unconsciously softening. She even stopped addressing him as "Earl":
"Davion, go and pour me another glass of wine."
Davion bent slightly and reached out to retrieve the overturned glass from Cersei's chest.
His fingertips inadvertently brushed her snow-white, delicate skin. Like a pebble dropped into a still lake, an alluring pink flush slowly spread across her skin from the point of contact.
He did not linger, but strode to the round table, poured another glass of wine, and handed it back to Cersei.
Cersei took a small sip and said:
"Davion, why didn't you pour yourself a glass this time? Aren't you thirsty anymore?"
Davion smiled faintly, his gaze falling on the wine-soaked patch over Cersei's chest, his tone suggestive:
"Haven't you already prepared my wine, Your Grace? This little bit will do for me!"
Cersei followed his gaze downward and immediately understood what he meant. A smug smile curled her lips.
Just as she was about to raise her head and speak, a dark shadow loomed over her!
Davion bent over, lowered his head, and gently licked up the wine!
Cersei stiffened and gave a self-satisfied laugh! Then she softly exhaled.
"Ha ha!"
Her hands naturally wrapped around Davion's head!
The lower edge of the enormous canopy in the middle of the bedchamber fluttered in gusts of wind!
