More than two hundred Night's Watch walked out of Haunted Forest, headed by a bearded man riding a horse and leading dozens of rangers at the front of the team.
They came below Wall, looked up at Drogon in the sky, and then shouted to the closed tunnel door, "Open the door! I am Carter Pike from the Eastwatch-by-the-Sea!"
Just as the tunnel gate slowly rose, a stream of Dragonfire suddenly sprayed onto the snow in front of the tunnel, blocking Eastwatch-by-the-Sea Night's Watch from moving forward.
Carter Pike calmed his horse and shouted to Gary in the air, "Who are you?"
Gary made Drogon drop to a certain height, and then responded, "King in the North, Luke·Stark."
Carter Pike was stared at by Drogon's pair of vertical pupils. "Our duty at Night's Watch is to protect Wall. We don't want to get involved in the fight between you and His Majesty Stannis. Please let us enter the city and return to Castle Black."
Gary grinned, "Call me Your Excellency? Your Majesty Stannis? Your thoughts are very obvious, and I don't need to test them."
Carter Pike secretly thought that it was too bad, he forgot to change his story for a while.
He didn't really turn to Stannis, but because Stannis helped him defeat Wildlings and rescued Castle Black, so he respected Stannis very much and had a good impression.
Gary's smile disappeared in the next second, "Go back! Bring my words to Stannis. If he doesn't walk out of the forest and surrender before dawn tomorrow, I will burn Haunted Forest."
Carter Pike looked at Drogon's faucet slowly hanging down and was frightened. He turned his horse around in a panic and led Eastwatch-by-the-Sea's two hundred Night's Watch back to Haunted Forest.
Gary rode Drogon over the Wall and returned to Castle Black.
He stood on Training Yard and shouted loudly, "Who! Opened the tunnel door?"
The surrounding Night's Watch were frightened into silence. Those Night's Watch who were pulling the rope quickly lowered the door and stood there shivering. They were just following orders, and Gary would not blame them.
At this time, Alliser Thorne led several Night's Watch senior executives down the wooden stairs and came to Gary, "Your Majesty, the ones outside the door just now are Night's Watch of the Eastwatch-by-the-Sea. They have the right to enter Castle Black. You..."
"Ugh!"
Gary had a gloomy face, wiped off the blood on the blade, and sheathed Falling Plum again.
A thin bloodstain appeared on Alliser Thorne's neck, and then the bloodstain slowly became thicker, and a large amount of blood spurted out. With a "pop" sound, Alliser's head tilted back 180 degrees.
"Ah!"
The senior executives of Night's Watch standing behind him kept retreating, looking at Gary with pale faces.
"Boom."
Alliser's head fell to the ground, and his headless body also fell to the ground, twitching strangely.
Gary wiped off the blood on the armor in disgust, "Without my order, anyone who dares to open the door without permission will be killed without mercy!"
Night, King's Tower.
Jon came up to find Gary. Three of his friends stayed below to guard the tunnel gate.
"Luke, there are some unfavorable remarks about you in the city."
Gary guessed, "The escaped Wildlings may regroup into an army at any time and launch a counterattack. And I don't have an army to garrison Castle Black, so they want to let Stannis's army in."
If Jon didn't know that Gary still had 700 cavalry yet to arrive, he would probably support letting Stannis enter the city.
"Even Maester Aemon supports opening the door. They plan to open the tunnel door for Stannis and Eastwatch-by-the-Sea's Night's Watch tomorrow morning."
The two women Wildlings in the room were silent. They couldn't say anything, so they could only listen from the side.
Gary chuckled and said, "They sent you to convince me? Let me guess, they want me to temporarily reach a reconciliation with Stannis? To deal with Wildlings together?"
Jon saw that Gary had guessed it, and nodded silently without speaking.
Gary slowly exerted force with his left hand, and he crushed one corner of the wooden table to pieces. "You are really looking for death. It seems that I am too merciful."
Jon leaned against the wall and said helplessly, "Your killing of Alliser caused dissatisfaction among many people. Moreover, they come from all over Seven Kingdoms and do not have much identification with King in the North. On the contrary, Stannis outside is the younger brother of the previous king. To them, Stannis is more orthodox than you."
A flash of red flashed in Gary's eyes, "Then kill all these people! Only Night's Watch is on our side."
Jon smiled bitterly and said, "Castle Black's Night's Watch has eighty-seven... eighty-six people left. Originally there were more than thirty people standing on our side. After you killed Alliser, there are only... three left."
"Three?" Gary felt surprised. Among the total eighty-six Night's Watch, there were only three sensible people?
Jon glanced at Ygritte awkwardly, "Well, Edd, Grenn and Piper are all firmly on your side."
Ygritte suppressed a smile, and then glared at Jon.
Gary closed his eyes expressionlessly, "Except for the three of them, everyone else has been killed. We cannot let them open the door to welcome Stannis's cavalry in."
Jon felt that there was still room for negotiation, "They are still waiting for my reply. Please wait for me for a while, and I will try again."
He thinks that all this is Night's Watch testing Gary's attitude. After all, no one wants to provoke a king who owns Dragon.
Gary opened his eyes and said, "Be careful, they might jump over the wall and be detrimental to you."
Jon held the steel sword Winter on his waist, nodded and said, "I will pay attention, you wait for my news."
Having said that, he didn't even have time to chat with Ygritte, so he hurried downstairs.
Gary didn't take off his plate armor. He always had an unknown premonition that things would change.
Ygritte is different from Jon. She is very willing to see Gary kill all those crows, "It's just dozens of crows, just kill them. Don't you have seven hundred cavalry? Do you still need these crows to defend the city for you?"
Gary walked out of the room by the stove and stared at Flame in trance, "Their life and death are decided by themselves."
A few hours later.
There was a commotion downstairs, and Edd and Piper rushed into the room.
"Your Majesty, they captured Jon and Grenn..."
"Don't talk nonsense! Your Majesty, Stannis's army has come in! Janos Slint opened the gate while Dragon was out looking for food!"
Just as he was talking, a Night's Watch led several Lu family soldiers wearing iron armor to kill him.
Gary put on his helmet leisurely and pulled out Falling Plum, "Follow me, the four of you, and fight out first."
He rushed to the door, kicked over Night's Watch who was leading the way, and then chopped off the heads of the remaining people with a knife.
On the corridor, Stannis soldiers saw a man wearing gray plate armor rushing out of the room, "Here!"
They raised their spears and swords high and rushed towards Gary with shouts.
Gary pinched a soldier's neck with one hand, lifted him forward, and crashed head-on into the group of soldiers.
There were wailing sounds in the corridor, and more than a hundred soldiers poured into the King's Tower, including many knights wearing plate armor. But nearly half of them had their bones broken by the rampaging Gary.
The other half of the soldiers were even worse. They were all killed by the sword, leaving no intact corpses.
