Once Omega Zero realized there were many irrational aspects to his environment, he began trying to break them.
He found colleagues on other floors and asked about the hotel, but they all acted as if they knew nothing.
"They were just like I had been before. They had never thought about these things."
He tried probing the guests for information as well, but after interacting with many of them, he discovered that they did not even know where they had come from. They only remembered what happened after checking in, and had never wondered why they had checked in at all.
"It seemed that everyone in the entire hotel, whether staff or guests, had a lock in their minds. It locked away all thought about the hotel, making them completely overlook these irrationalities..."
Other than Omega Zero himself, everyone seemed to be "asleep."
Only after experiencing the same repetitive life day after day had he suddenly "awakened."
This "difference" made him extraordinarily uneasy. He did not know whether his awakening was a good thing or a bad thing, so he decided not to reveal how different he was and hid the confusion in his heart.
At the same time, he began doing things that broke convention:
One day, he would suddenly decide not to hold a banquet, then hide himself and observe the guests' reactions.
During a banquet, he would suddenly turn off every light and observe the guests' behavior.
At certain themed banquets, he would also arrange events and objects that utterly did not fit the theme.
He did all this to stir up "doubt" in the guests' hearts.
Once they began to doubt, they would start noticing the hotel's irrationalities.
But although the guests noticed them, their doubts remained superficial. Not a single guest awakened completely as he
