Mo Ling opened his parachute, slowing his descent.
He curiously surveyed his surroundings:
Massive stone pillars rose into the sky like columns holding up the heavens, stretching from the barren ground into the thick clouds.
Cloud mist curled through the gaps between the pillars. Sunlight was divided by the columns into countless beams, casting strips of Light Spot across the ground.
Scorching winds blew in from the horizon. The temperature here seemed far higher than in the Reversal Mountain Range. Looking down from afar, he could even see the air near the ground warping from the heat, swaying as though it were melting.
Feeling the heatwave below, Mo Ling suddenly came to his senses. He had already reached the Abyss Second Layer: the Disordered Sand Dune.
He examined the towering stone pillars, sweeping his vision across and between them as he let out an astonished sigh.
It was a spectacle he had never seen before. He had not expected to encounter such a wondrous sight the moment he arrived at the Abyss Second Layer.
Adjusting his parachute, Mo Ling drifted through the gaps between the stone pillars.
"Good thing we prepared parachutes in advance. Otherwise, we might have fallen straight onto the rocks and died..."
Lu Youqi had shown foresight as well. Once he learned about the characteristics of the Reversal Mountain Range, he had immediately prepared parachutes. They had indeed come in handy.
"I didn't expect to land somewhere like this. It's all rocks. How did these pillars form? Did they grow?"
Mo Ling studied the strange environment, his heart filled with confusion.
But this was not the time to dwell on it. He had to find a suitable place to land first.
He spotted a relatively open patch of ground amid the stone pillars, quickly adjusted his parachute's
